Dr. Khoa D. Hoang, M.D. is the founder of Kind Eyecare in Germantown, Maryland. He is a Cornea Specialist, Refractive & Cataract Surgeon and one of the first in the greater Washington, D.C. area to provide Corneal Collagen Crosslinking. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Hahnemann Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident, followed by a Fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at See Clearly Vision. Dr. Hoang is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Hoang provides medical, surgical and laser eye care to serve the ophthalmological needs of patients throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area since 2010 with a focus on Corneal disease. Dr. Hoang has been providing laser eye surgery such as LASIK to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. In addition, Dr. Hoang performs Cataract surgery with Intraocular lens implantation with advance technology to help patients obtain less dependence on glasses and contact lens after surgery. As a Corneal specialist, Dr. Hoang provides Corneal transplantation techniques such as Penetrating Keratoplasty (PK), and Descemet Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK). Outside of the workplace, Dr. Hoang enjoys traveling with his family and friends, boating, fishing, and hiking.
